An I can’t make this stuff up, funny mom/kid conversation. Not a DIY post.

Hello everyone.  My blog is diy, craft,  and decorating with a bit of kid stuff sprinkled on top.  My posts will say not a DIY post if it is the kid stuff.  I am keeping a journal of all of the funny things my young boys say and wanted to share a few in hopes that it will bring a smile to your face.

A conversation I had recently with my six year old son.

bathroom

He comes out of the bathroom.

G:  Mom, can I tell you something?

me:  yes

G:  I dropped the comb in the toilet.

As I walk toward the bathroom I feel ill at the thought of retrieving it.

toilet

I go into the bathroom and see it on the counter.

comb

It is the comb I use every morning when getting my sons ready for school.    I pick it up with tweezer fingers and it is dry.  It is near a hand towel and more dry than I expect.

me:   Did you dry it off with this towel?

G:    Oh!  It didn’t happen today.

   me:

screaming

Photos used are from FreeDigitalPhotos.net       I am very grateful for this site, it allowed me to use a bathroom photo much cleaner and more beautiful than my own.    Also, this woman looks gorgeous while screaming, which is something I cannot pull off.

I know sometimes motherhood can feel challenging but it is with a smile and great joy that I write this.  True sometimes my two little boys act like chimpanzees after a pot of coffee, but these memories I will hold dear forever!

      Thanks for stopping by,

                Michelle
