Blending your modern technology with furniture from another century.

Prior to my blogging days I would just take quick before and after (blurry and blurrier) photos.
This is a mid-century buffet that was in good shape except for a few water rings on the top and something splashed over one of the front doors. This just made it easier to paint. I wanted to keep some of the original feel so I only painted the top and door inserts with a flat black paint. The top left former silverware drawer has three slots. And we have three remotes. How perfect is that? And these are the SAME KNOBS! Yeah, Brasso. Give me a dozen tarnished drawer pulls and a bottle of Brasso and I will be happy for an hour. Anyway, I didn’t sand or stain any of the wooden areas. This was a quick easy project.
